My television debut
Ok, yesterday I was on tv. It was only for about 15 seconds or so, but I was on tv. Coming out of Subway after lunch a news reporter said hello in a friendly way and started chatting... then asked if I'd say what I told him for the camera... so I said (hesitantly) "sure." It was a story about insurance companies requiring people to get cheaper parts for their cars when repaired... not original, dealer parts. I had told him about my Dodge Charger that didn't have air conditioning and they put it in after the fact and it never worked right and that I always take my car to the dealership to get it fixed. That was my 15 seconds of my 15 minutes of fame. Good thing, it was cold, I was all bundled up, squinting into the sun and had no lipstick on so I looked pale as a ghost. So much for a television career!

Synchronicity part 2
Ok, another wierd coincidence to report. I managed to lock my keys in my car before going in to work. I realized this upon leaving work and we called security and they helped me get into the car (rather quickly, actually)... so as I drove out of the parking lot and switched on the radio... the first commercial that came on was an OnStar commercial about a guy locking his keys in his car! I had not heard this commercial ever before.... other OnStar ones, but never this one. How bizaare. I guess there's nothing to say, but life is interesting sometimes.

My Zettiology Journal
This is my Zettiology art journal, inspired by books I got this Christmas: Alphabetica: An A to Z Guide for Collage and Book Artists by Lynne Perrella, Artists' Journals and Sketchbooks by Lynne Perrella and Visual Chronicles by Linda Woods and Karen Dinino. These were all very inspiring. So I took my little Moleskine notebook/journal (the little ones that come three to a pack) and started coloring pages and stamping my favorite Zettiology rubber stamps into it... Zettiology stamps are from Teesha and Tracy Moore (I believe they have a website at zettiology.com if you want to check out their stuff...it's awesome. They do journals, too. Take a peek and see what crazy stuff came out of my brain in the last few weeks. If you want to see the pages closer, just click on the image to see a larger view. (I did them in two "chunks" so they stayed in order).
