Which Tarot Card Are You?
You are The Moon
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Moon is a card of magic and mystery - when prominent you know that nothing is as it seems, particularly when it concerns relationships. All logic is thrown out the window.
The Moon is all about visions and illusions, madness, genius and poetry. This is a card that has to do with sleep, and so with both dreams and nightmares. It is a scary card in that it warns that there might be hidden enemies, tricks and falsehoods. But it should also be remembered that this is a card of great creativity, of powerful magic, primal feelings and intuition. You may be going through a time of emotional and mental trial; if you have any past mental problems, you must be vigilant in taking your medication but avoid drugs or alcohol, as abuse of either will cause them irreparable damage. This time however, can also result in great creativity, psychic powers, visions and insight. You can and should trust your intuition.

The first Christmas cards....
I finally got started last night on my Christmas cards... I have more tags made, just didn't get them all mounted onto cards. I have some new color combos I'm trying out. They were fun to start with. I like doing tags, they are small and not intimidating in any way. Sometimes I like to give just a tag or use it on a gift all on its own. But they are also a nice start for a card, too.

Challenge Me!
Ok, I thought I'd try something different.... give me a challenge.... an art challenge that is... a color scheme to try, a theme, a technique an image to use.... and in the next week (if I can manage it) I will try to do it... for now I'll pick the first person who leaves a challenge in my comments for this post... if I get more and I have time (big IF) I might do more than one! If you'd like to join me in the challenge, leave a comment and link to your blog and people can see what you've been up to, too! I hope this flies, it sounds like a good idea. Sharon, if you are out there... give it a go!

Forgotten Card
New pages done in Moleskine Journal
Wednesday Stamper Autumn Colors
My first Wednesday Stamper submission. Autumn colors... which I do a lot anyway, so this was easy. I was still doing Halloween bookmarks and thought I'd do my Wednesday Stamper piece since I had all the right colors out.

Bookmarks, here's a start
I had the idea to make bookmarks, that I could possibly use as or with gifts for Christmas (not too early to be thinking of that already!) So I began by making these last night. I haven't punched the hole for the string at the top yet, but other than that they are done. I was pleased with the look and I stamped a more plain image on the back just to finish them off.
Wednesday Stamper for last week
I was intrigued by the theme last week for Wednesday Stamper... ATC tryptycs. So this Sat. I made two. Would have liked to have done more. They are fun. I made them in one piece and then cut them apart. This is that technique that I developed a few years ago, stamping in black in first and then adding color by stippling and then adding more layers of stamping. I call it "collage without cutting." I like to use bold, bright colors to offset the black. I did a men's and women's theme.
