Christmas card art and other stuff

Here are some Christmas cards I've been working on. I'm only picking my favorites. I've made quite a few this year.

I tried some different color schemes this year... I saw the blue and yellow in Take Ten magazine and liked it. The purple and greens are an old favorite of mine for holiday colors.

I also really enjoy doing the tag art. They are fun and I forced myself this year to do four of a kind at a time so I'd get more done faster.

Christmas Cards

After reading another blog I was inspired to add some of my Christmas card art (since I'd scanned them in anyway).

These are only a few of what I've done, I only added my favorites.

Although I think doing the tags were the most fun. Now I just have to sign and make out envelopes and get them all mailed! That's never the easy part, oddly enough.

I tried some color combinations that I don't usually do for Christmas cards... the yellow and blue was something I saw in Take 10 (I think) and I really liked it. The red and tan worked out nicely and even the black and yellow worked with Santa in the center. The purple and green combo is an old favorite and I've always liked using blues for Christmas.

I'm also going to add some art cards I did for a submission to Somerset Studio (which I never got around to sending in) that I liked. The theme was Paris (which I guess should be pretty obvious).
