Got back to my "roots" so to speak, of stamping some ATCs... haven't done that for a long while. These are all on glossy white card stock and I made the backgrounds first using the Chalk inkpads... two colors for each card. Layered on top images in black ink and some other colors and embellishments attached.... stamps, fiber, brads, a slide mount... these were fun. I also have another digital one but that's on the other computer and will have to add later.
The last lunch in the week-long series. A quick lunch at Wendy's before going in to work at The Container Store from 1-6. A salad and a baked potato. Pretty good. I resisted the urge to get a Frosty.
Lunch Saturday at Skyline Chili... I got a craving for a 3-way. There aren't many Skylines around as there used to be. I went clear up to Morse Rd. to go to this one... and did some shopping, too at the new age shop Gentle Winds.
Lunch at Noodles today on lucky Friday the 13th! I had my Dreamweaver class today and we broke for lunch so I went to Noodles. Since it was early I got a parking spot, which 'aint easy there. The soup had good flavor, but I didn't like the chunkiness of it. I forgot to photograph the sign which I'd done at the other places.
Lunch today: a quick lunch at Subway, a BMT sub (provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, green pepper and black olives) with chips and a drink (Pepsi). A lot was going on at work because of the announcement that Gordon Gee was returning as President of OSU... quite a stir!
Lunch Wednesday at El Vaquero Mexican restaurant (one of my favorites). I had the Speedy Gonzalez which consists of a taco, enchilada and beans. Had a water to drink (I was good today).
Monday's lunch... at Johnny Rockets. Hamburger, fries and a shake. Maybe not the healthiest, but it sure was yummy! Went to Barnes & Noble after and got the two books shown in the earlier post.
Got these two books today at lunch... I was going to get one or the other and just couldn't decide so I was bad and got both of them... they look really good. Can't wait to try out some of the ideas!
Took a stroll this afternoon through German Village, near downtown. It's a lovely historic area that has been all restored. It's a quite sought after area of town and the houses are lovely and quaint, though most are very small. The area was initially inhabited by German immigrants which gave it its name later on. The Book Loft is my all-time favorite book shop... has loads of character... lots of tiny themed rooms with every type of book imaginable and different music playing in each room. It's quite a treat to visit.
