1884 Journal

June 20 - Bill and I was plowing my field. Got done in the evening. Hell of a hot day. Anna was here. Bill was about to (something?) Hot enough to roast a horse.

June 21 - Father went to Brookville. I was laying around all day. Bill was at home in the shade. Mother and I went to Fairfield in the evening. Hot as can be. One (100) hundred.
